Band of Horses – Loredo MP3

Well, after 2007’s sublime Cease To Begin the beardy Americans are back with more emotion-drenched indie rock. This band are a favourite of mine so I was very interested to see where they would go after Cease to Begin.

Both tracks are taken from their upcoming album Infinite Arms and sound bright, almost care free, which is certainly something you couldn’t say about earlier tracks such as The Funeral or Is There a Ghost.

Loredo is a straight up radio rocker, or as close as Band of Horses will ever come to writing one, where as Compliments has a bouncy, naïve quality to it which I am really digging. Enjoy.
