Freelance Whales’ ‘Weathervanes’ Gets UK Release

Having featured the Queens quintet back in June in a short ‘Introducing…’ piece, it is most pleasing to see that the groups sumptuous debut LP ‘Weathervanes‘ will be released here in the UK on the 23rd of August, almost six-months after it’s US equivalent.

And what an album it is. From the opening twitch of Generator^First Floor to the blissed out closer The Great Estates, via the straight-up indie pop of Hannah and the Sufjan Stevens infused Broken Horse, Weathervanes is an album to treasure and will surely be one of the year’s greatest debuts.
