Listen: Coldplay – Hurts Like Heaven

You may be aware that Coldplay have a new record coming out soon. If not, where have you been? We’ve written about it quite a lot. In preparation for Mylo Xyloto‘s  October release, Chris Martin and co. have released a live EP of their recent iTunes Festival performance, during which they aired a number of new tracks.

We’ve been a fan of Hurts Like Heaven since they debuted it at Rock Am Ring back in June. It heads in a deliberately more poppy direction and is a lot of fun, a word not oft associated with the authors of Fix You, The Scientist and Trouble.  Hear it below.

Coldplay have also announced a three date UK tour in December taking in Glasgow, Manchester and London.
