Since the triple-whammy of Elf, Yes Man and 500 Days of Summer made Zooey Deschanel one of the most loveable creatures on planet Earth she has, among other things, recorded two rather wonderful little albums with collaborator M. Ward under the name She & Him.

Well, they are now back with a festive twist as on 24th October they release album number three, a collection of Christmas classics. If you want to know roughly what it will sound like, watch Elf. Or listen to this track below, which they made available for download this week. Yes it’s early, but every shop in the country will no doubt have their Christmas music on loop as of November regardless.

They’re right. It’s going to be a very She & Him Christmas.
