Has an artist ever before been through the HYPE-BACKLASH cycle quite so many times before their debut album’s even been released as Lana Del Rey has in recent months?

Well to add to the debate she was only invited to play a few songs on one of America’s most-loved shows. The musical spot on Saturday Night Live is a pretty big deal by all accounts and one that usually goes to artists that have released more than a handful of singles.
