New Video: The Maccabees – Went Away

Back in January when we reviewed The Maccabees’ stunning album, Given To The Wild, we called ‘Went Away’ a song of “pure, unadulterated adrenaline – the kind of song that come its three-and-a-half minutes close simultaneously makes you think you could run a marathon just as easily as bursting into tears.”

Unsuprisingly, they are releasing it as a single.

The video for the song was directed by Phil Sansom and features the London skyline as the band’s background.

It’s gorgeous.
