If you ever doubted that someone born in Welwyn Garden City could produce not one but two things as darn right beautiful as Elektra and Miranda Kilbey, then think again. Here’s the proof. Even more interesting is the fact that these two are the daughters of Steve Kilbey of The Church.

And what a debut single they’ve produced. I mean, seriously, this is GOLDEN.

Think Del Rey. Think Washed Out. Think reverbed, swelling vocals. Think bliss.

With a chorus that melts into view over a horizon of slow synth and a minimal beat, it’s a gorgeous slice of you-come-to-me noir-pop.
