Local Natives performed ‘Happy Feet’ when they stopped by Lauren Laverne’s BBC 6Music show recently, and we could tell even then that this was for real. Well, now we have a studio version.

This is absolutely everything you’d want from a new Local Natives song, and acts as the second single from their forthcoming second album, Hummingbird, after the already-released ‘Breakers’.

Drums clatter, harmonies soar and guitars glisten. It’s a beautiful, surging return.
