Listen: Sir Sly – Gold

LA trio Sir Sly have been creeping up the Hype Machine chart for the last few weeks. They come from good stock too, with their debut single, ‘Gold’ being released by National Anthem, the London imprint behind EPs from Haim, Atlas Genius and Chvrches.

‘Gold’ finds the trio flirting with The Neighbourhood-esque darkness, with extra hooks thrown in for good measure.

With only three songs to their name (all available below) it’s still early days but so far, so damn good.
