West Palm Beach scuzz-rockers Surfer Blood have announced details of ther second album, Pythons, their first on a major label, due out this summer.
First single, ‘Weird Shapes’, has landed on the internet today. Featuring neat guitar work and a dirty drawl of a vocal, it’s pretty much vintage Surfer Blood.
‘Weird Shapes’ is a left of center pop song about someone who is about to go through a manic episode,” front man JP Pitts explains. “It’s one of the most dynamic songs we’ve ever written.”
A very exciting note about Pythons: it’s only been produced by Gil bloody Norton.
