One act we’ve been keeping an eye on over the last few months is Little Daylight, purely because everything they make is just so damn brilliant.
Past singles ‘Overdose’ and ‘Name In Lights’ have already shown the vast electronic spectrum in which the Brooklyn trio thrive, showcasing moments of both subdued, floating harmony and relentless pop intensity (a remarkable feat for a band that only formed last summer).
This week saw the announcement of a long awaited debut EP, set to be titled ‘Tunnel Vision’, due for release in early August, teased with brand new track which premiered earlier today on Popjustice.
‘Glitter and Gold’ embraces that dynamite combination of a buoyant beat, high synths and sugary sweet vocals that made us fall in love with Little Daylight earlier this year, but in this case the tempo is upped to a danceable speed, and somehow they’ve managed to make themselves even catchier.
Be warned, you will find yourself singing along to this in the street.
‘Tunnel Vision’ is out August 6th, listen to ‘Glitter and Gold’ below.
