Ok, lets get this out in the open. In our early days we posted some MP3′s on here without permission. Crazy huh? As the site grew and grew we realised that we didn’t like where things were going. When The Gramophone Rings will never be somewhere to go if all you care about is illegally downloading all the latest releases.
So, towards the end of 2011 as When The Gramophone Rings grew more popular we went through what we called ‘Operation CleanUp’. Down came the illegal downloads, replaced by legal streams. Amazingly, visitor figures stayed strong, then increased.
When The Gramophone Rings is committed to helping artists on both major and independent labels. All MP3′s that are posted on this site are for sampling purposes only. All posts feature links to artist’s websites as well as online music stores.
